We have provided information on this webpage to assist you with finding and visiting Lombard House:

Directions from Public Transport

If you are taking public transport,

• Lombard House is directly opposite the bus station behind the old city wall. From the bus station, you will need to:
  • walk along St George’s Lane (pass Next and Fenwick) and towards the old city wall;
  • turn right at the end of the road on St George’s Street and head towards the underpass;
  • once you resurface, turn right along Upper Bridge Street and towards Dover Street;
  • We are located just after Bupa Dentist;
• the nearest train station is Canterbury East. From the train station, you will need to:
  • walk down Rhodaus Town towards the police station;
  • cross the road / roundabout and you will be on Upper Bridge Street;
  • we are located after the fire station.

Parking

• Holman’s Meadow car park, at the rear of Lombard House, can be accessed by Old Dover Street or Dover Street. There is disabled parking, motorcycle parking. You can pay by card, cash or through their app.
• The address for the car park is Old Dover Rd, Canterbury, Kent, CT1 3JB.
• If you have an appointment at Lombard house, please park in Holman’s Meadow car park.

Disabled Access and Toilets

Disabled access is at the rear entrance of the building through Holman’s Meadow car park.

• Once you have parked in Holman’s Meadow car park, please make your way to our big, black gate and buzz us so we can let you in.

We have two disabled toilets, one on the ground floor and the other on the second floor.

• The toilet on the ground floor is located at the back of the building:
  • On entry through the back of the building, please pass through the double doors and turn left;
  • On entry through the front of the building, please carry on past the reception; follow the corridor round to the right; turn right through the double doors; and then turn left.
• The toilet on the second floor is located next to the kitchen. If you use the lift, please turn right on leaving the lift; go through the double doors; turn left; and further down the corridor will be the toilets on the right-hand side, next to our staff / tenants kitchen.

Toilets

We have two disabled toilets: one on the ground floor; and the other on the second floor (directions are found in the section Disabled Access and Toilets):

Men’s and Women’s toilets are on all floors:

• Ground floor are located at the back of the building:
  • On entry through the front of the building, please walk pass the reception; follow the corridor round to the right; turn left through the double doors; and then you will see them on your right.
  • On entry through the back of the building, they are on the lefthand side;
• The 1st 2nd and 3rd floor toilets are all in the same part of the building.
  • If you use the lift, please turn right on leaving the lift; go through the double doors; turn left; and further down the corridor there will be the toilets on the right-hand side, next to our staff / tenants kitchen.

Fire Exits

There are three main routes for exiting the building in case of a fire:

• an external fire escape located at the back of the building;
• two internal staircases located at the front and middle of the building.

Closest Cash Machine (ATM)

There is a cash machine beside St Georges Dental practice, 8 Upper Bridge street, Canterbury, Kent, CT1 2NA, (on the corner with Dover Street).
